    Launch!

We are pleased to announce that Quantum Noesis is now live! It’s been an epic journey to complete the game, between the global pandemic and the invasion of Ukraine, which forced our art team to evacuate. Quantum Noesis is set in a fictional world, but the issues we explore are very real. Freedom and autonomy are under siege around the world, particularly in authoritarian regimes that are keen to use AI to increase surveillance and control. The Synesis One DAO – just like the Noesis Network in the game – was established to create a decentralized AI in the service of humanity. Good luck, player! It’s up to you to save the world!

To help you navigate the game, we’ve prepared the following notes.

    Access

Go to www.quantumnoesis.io and press ‘play now’ to enter. We recommend using Chrome or Brave browser and a Phantom wallet, with either 1 Kanon NFT or between 100-2000 SNS tokens.

You can download a Phantom wallet here

If you need $SNS tokens, you can purchase here

Quantum Noesis is designed for browser and has not been fully tested on mobile.

As a web3 game, Quantum Noesis uses your Phantom wallet as your login, rather than a username and password. When network usage is high, communicating with the Solana blockchain can take 10-20 seconds or more – but hang tight, it should authenticate.

    Staking

You must stake a Kanon NFT or $SNS to play.

To stake a Kanon NFT, press ‘stake NFT’ button and approve transaction in your wallet.

To stake $SNS, press ‘stake SNS’ button and enter amount to stake (100-2000) and approve transaction in your wallet.

Note: If you stake 1 Kanon (or 2000 SNS), you will win the full amount of any $SNS rewards you earn for solving puzzles. If you stake less than 2000 $SNS, your $SNS reward will be proportional to your staked amount. Note that the tokens you stake will be locked until the end of the game on July 20, 2022. At that point you can unstake your NFT or $SNS tokens.

We have noticed intermittent errors on the Solana network while staking. If you get an error message while staking, please refresh the page after the transaction to confirm if you have staked successfully. If so, you should see the Stake $SNS & Stake NFT buttons greyed out.

    Game Play

Once you have staked your Kanon NFT or $SNS, press ‘start game’ button and the game will load in your browser. You will then be in the game prologue, which introduces some of the game’s characters. Each of the twelve chapters has three puzzles you must solve to advance the narrative. Chapters unlock every 7 days. You can only play chapters that have unlocked. Once you have solved a puzzle it won’t appear again – but you can reread the chapter.

    Puzzles

Each puzzle has a menu button (return to game menu), revert button (revert to starting configuration), undo (undo last move), and info (explains puzzle objective).

    Rewards

If you’ve solved a puzzle, it can take up to 20-30 seconds (depending on network congestion) for the game to communicate with the Solana blockchain and place the reward in your wallet. So if you think you have the correct solution, hang tight for a moment and you’ll eventually see the victory animation and hear the sound effects – and can then see the $SNS tokens in your wallet.

    Menu

To access the game menu, press the Esc key. Here you can mute the SFX and Music or reduce the volume. The menu button takes you to the main menu, which shows which chapters are unlocked and available to play.
